Salman Khan has briskly and gingerly managed to be acquitted from three amongst the four cases the actor was involved in. Not only Salman but also notable actors of the film industry are accused in the 19-year old Blackbuck poaching case, one amongst the four cases.

Salman Khan was acquitted in Arms Act case on January 18. The influential and powerful person that Salman is, all the cases were bound to be wrapped up through hook or nook. Out of the four cases pending against the actor, three cases have been wrapped up completely, leaving only one case (blackbuck poaching) as pending.

Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, are co-accused in the original case filed during the shoot of a film Hum Saath Saath hain in September 1998. These actors are facing charges of hunting two blackbucks Indian Antelope under the Wildlife Protection Act and Indian Penal Code.

To record their statements in the Jodhpur court, the five defendants arrived in the Sun city on January, 26. A day which is a gazetted public holiday didn’t spare these personalities. (Well, what you sow is what you reap!)

The actors have denied the charges claimed by the judge. The Friday proceedings started by recording statements from Saif and Salman. Salman was asked This is a case which has been filed under section 313 of the criminal procedure code. Under this procedure, it is obligatory for all accused to be heard reasonably.

Salman Khan, was arrested on October 12, 1998 in the case from Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jodhpur in the case. However, before we could sink the news, the actor was released out on Bail.

Two others, Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Ganware, are also accused of aiding the actors in hunting bucks.

The state can appeal against the magistrate’s order to the sessions court there. If they challenge and if the sessions court also spells the acquittal, they can appeal to the higher judiciary.

Well, if three-fourth litigation is over, putting an end to one-fourth should be no bid-deal for the Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We wish all these actors all the luck for a decree announcement in their favour.
