The National Investigation Agency brought out the closing report on Monday about the Ajmer bomb blast case. Resultantly, they have cleared the case for four people which include Sadhvi Pragya and also RSS leader Indresh Kumar. This decision was taken on lack of any consolidated evidence against them.

NIA (National Investigation Agency) made available the closing report to special court and sentenced Bhavesh Patel (39) and Devendra Gupta (41) to life imprisonment on March 22nd, 2017.

The agency also mentioned that, they could not get any proven evidence against the accused named Sadhvi Pragya, Indresh Kumar, Rajendra and Ramesh alias Prince.

Very soon the court will choose whether they want to keep the NIA report or want to dispose the idea. This was assured by Ashwini Sharma, who is special public prosecutor.

Also, Dinesh Kumar Gupta special NIA court has not disregarded the flair of investigation because the agency could not lock in the three main absconders, Ramchandra Kalsangra, Suresh Nair and Sandeep Dange.

The court has demanded to submit the progress report on the attempts made to track the three culprits.

Apart from this, letters to Chief Secretary of Kerala and District Collectors of Kozhikode and Indore were written by the court to explain that why the agency should not held responsible in failure to submit the movable and immovable properties of Ramchandra Kalsangra and Suresh Nair.

Where court has held responsible Devendra Gupta, Bhavesh Patel and Sunil Joshi, it has given a clean chit to others like Swami Assemanand.

Their third convict succumbed to death during the trial itself. The 2007 bomb blast at dargah of Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti took 3 lives and left 15 injured.

After handling over the case to Rajasthan police ATS, it was further transferred to NIA.

NIA gave it a re-look with registering it on April 6, 2011.
