Since time unknown, Congress has always made every effort to demonstrate unity and harmony in public. The party has always portrayed that friendly relations exist between all party members across the state. However, the truth is not hidden from anybody. How much Congress may try to sugarcoat it’s intra-party relations, the public cannot be fooled through tools of pretence and perfidy.

State Congress head Sachin Pilot was recently on a trip to Ajmer. On completing one successful year of governance, Ajmer district Congress Committe head Bhupendra Singh Rathore met Sachin Pilot to express his gratitude. Rathore was escorted with his full team, except a former legislator who was missing from his team.

Incessant Blame-game by Congress

The internal splits and grudges in the Congress party has been a constant scene from the time, BJP assumed office, i.e. close to three and half years. the blame game within the party continues till date, in which one officer blames the other for wrong-doings and the party tries to absolve it of its vices.

Former MLA were marked absent at the event

To ensure that the Ajmer event is a massive success, everything was properly looked into—the venue, the security, the invitees list. Officials also ensured that all invitees have been messaged well in advance and that no person has been left out. Despite this, a battery of MLA’s were missing at the event organized for expressing for Pilot.

Amongst the many MLA’s which were missing, a few were Nathuram Sinodia, Nasim Akhtar, Raghu Sharma, Brahnmadev Kumawat, Kayuum Khan, Mahendra Singh Gurjar among many  others who missed the event for reasons more than one.

Not even a single former MLA marked his attendance at the event. This was a public matter of shame and guilt for Pilot who boasts of massive support and supposed favouritism.

Ajmer is crucial from a political viewpoint

Rajasthan Congress Head Sachin Pilot highlighted the importance of Ajmer, as far as politicking is concerned. He said, “Ajmer is my home town and I keep myself abreast with  all political developments which occur in this state.”

Dinner Diplomace and it’s ineffective repurcussions for the party

Post 2013 elections in which Congress faced pangs of failure, Congress-in-charge unshered the concept of ‘Dinner Diplomacy’. This envisaged better intra-party relations and upscaled harmony and coordination, by having dinner together across a round table and mitigating all differences. However, this attempt too was in vain.

As a matter of fact, the Congress party has been divided and demarcated by three distinct lines—State head Sachin Pilot, Former Chief Minister Ashok gehlot and third division has been created by Former central minister, S.P Joshi.

Many efforts have been made to strategically demolish long-lasted differences lurking in the hearts of every Congress party worker against each other. But no avail. Theese differences seem to deepen by the day. We hope the party address this issue at the earliest, by applying as much intellectual power, if possible for the party. As the past testifies that non-sensical decisions have been taken by the party at every juncture.
