Rajasthan University is turning beautiful with the blossoms of Guldaudi. Guldaudi are better known as Chrysanthemums in English. Various varieties of Guldaudi flower are beautifully displayed in nursery of Rajasthan University. This exhibition of Guldaudi (Chrysanthemums) is being held every year since 1986. The exhibition is launched today by education minister of Rajasthan Kiran Maheshwari.

Guldaudi is one of such flowers that bloom in winters. That’s why this exhibition is usually held in month of December. Usually, Chrysanthemums fully blossom in November but this time it has not. In fact, Guldaudi flowers are liked by people as they remain fresh for long time.

Plantation of Gulgaudi
At Rajasthan University, 3700 pots of Guldaudi have been planted. There are 77 varieties of Guldaudi can be seen in eight groups. Varieties of Guldaudi like golden, Korean single, Pom Pom, Spider and Double etc will be seen this year at the exhibition at Rajasthan University.

This year this exhibition is on 6-7 December while on 8 December the flowers will be put on sale.
