Rajasthan Home Minister says, Ready to provide protection to Dulani of the Chinkara poaching case

Gulab Chand Kataria, Rajasthan home minister has said that the Rajasthan state government is ready to grant shield and protection to the only key eye witness in the much talked about and alleged Chinkara poaching case but only if he asks for the protection in writing.
“He never approached us and did not bring this issue to notice. If he gives anything in writing, arrangement for his protection would be made. If he does not come, he will be contacted by the local police,” Kataria reportedly told media persons.

Harish Dulani was the only eye witness in the chinkara paoching case that happened 18 years ago in 1998 while the superstar Salman Khan was shooting for Sooraj Barjatiya’s movie, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ in Rajasthan. After the Rajasthan High Court acquitted the ‘bhai of Bollywood’ in the same cases, the sole witness came forward and said, “”I stick to the statement I made before the magistrate 18 years ago that Salman got off the car and shot the deer. I was not absconding but was scared due to several threats received by me and my father.”
