The Jaipur Development Authority is planning to get done the ambitious golf course project which will be developed on 592 bigah land. The land is situated near Achrol village on highway near Delhi-Jaipur.

The present real estate market has led them to refuse to give any relief to get the attention of developers for this project. The real estate market is on the brink of sink and no any private player is manifesting interest to get the land project developed on public-private partnership mode. They are not in favour of providing any tenders till all the situations get a normalcy.

Projects of Rs. 1500 are facing roadblocks. JDA officials have also informed that in a summit that several officials invited the tenders but finance wing is not giving it consent. One of the official said, “The project is capital intensive and developers are apprehensive to invest, we have decided not to invite tenders again and again as it causes monetary loss. Earlier , the tenders for this project have been invited twice”.

The project has a whole lot of 18 golf courses and the international standards, exhibition centre and hotel. One of the official said, “After decreasing the size of the golf course, the JDA had decided to provide more land to the developer that would help earn him more revenue. However, this attempt too failed”.

The golf course was shrinked to smaller size and the JDA had taken this decision to make available the land to the developer that will get some revenue to them. But, this attempt also failed and could not yield any results.

A state government official wanted to earn Rs. 10 crore each month from the project. An official mentioned, “When JDA invited tenders for the second time, the one-time instalment (down-payment) which was nearly Rs 250 crore was reduced by Rs 100 crore. Also, monthly rental was reduced to Rs 7.5 crore from Rs 12.5 crore. But, even after this developers did not participate”
