The recent budget has not ended very well for all as the minorities in the state have protested against it. The minorities of the state are rising the voice as they assume that allocating less than 0.10% of the budget to them who make 11.04% of the total state population is not fair thing. These voice raisers include Jain, Muslims, Sikh and Christian communities naming the government for this ill treatment. Helpinghand Foundation member Naim Rabbani mentioned that, “SCs and STs get the budgetary allocation of almost equivalent to their population percentage. Majority of the Muslims and Christians share the socio-economic status with those of our SC and ST brothers but the allocations are not in proportion to the population. Government should allocate reasonable allocations for our welfare”.

The communities have also highlighted the life expectancy rates of their communities like Yasmeen Faraqui who is a member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board promptly have mentioned that, “Any death in this age group deprive other family members of education and better healthcare, and push them into poverty. The state should allocate some grants for organizing health camps not only in the Muslim areas but also in localities which have low socio-economic indicators”.

Likewise, Christian community father Vijay Paul have mentioned the issue of shortage of graveyard space. He came up with the grave issue that if some person from their community dies, finding space to bury the body becomes the chief issue. he also pointed towards the diminishing Christian population with only 97,000 Christians left in the state.

These constant complaints have raised a new issue in front of the state government. In last 3 years, Rajasthan have seen remarkable improvements in all sections including, infrastructure, health and education. This arising issue will not remain out of sight has CM Raje is not leaving any stone unturned for making Rajasthan a prosperous land.
