It is time to gear up again as Chaitra Navratri 2018 is round the corner. It is the festival of 9-days where goddess Durga and her nine forms are worshipped across the country. This is the time to empower yourself by worshipping Maa Durga. This year, Navratri is falling from 18th March to 26th March. This time, Chaitra Navratri will end on 8th day instead of 9th.

Significance of Navratri
As the name signifies, Navratri are the auspicious nights that prosper your life. These nine days bring you good health and happiness. Chaitra Navratri also signifies change of season or arrival of summer. Many people observe fasts for these nine days to please Maa. Each day of this 9-day festival is devoted to one form of Maa. These nine forms are Shailaputri, Brahmcharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmunda, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri.

Know the Muhurat 
This year, the muhurat of Kalash sthapna is from 9:00-10:30am. Although it is also suggested by the experts that Kalash sthapna can be done any time till 6:32 pm. It is very important to follow the rituals and do Kalash sthapna as per suggested time.
