The upcoming history based movie, Padmavati, is facing screening troubles. The movie is featuring some major stars, Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and is still in production procedure. The intense attacks on movie maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali took a serious move and now is bringing a major catastrophe for the movie. The movie will not be released in the state till is not get approval from the top Rajput community leaders.
The members of Rajput community and Karni Sena holded a big protest against the movie story and claimed that the movie story has been moulded and distorted to a great deal.
On Friday, Pushpendra Singh, the energy minister assured the protesting crowd that movie will not be released in the state. He saisd ” We will not allow the release of the film in Rajasthan till it is screened to our community members”.
There is complete ban on the upcoming movie in Rajasthan state. There are other demands appearing like quota for economically backward upper castes, a CBI inclusion in the murder case of Chatur Singh Sodha, a Rajput community member, fabrication of a board for the upper class communities etc.
The Bhansali incident happened when in the month of January, the crew had appeared at Rajasthan to conduct the shooting of the movie, Padmavati. The movie had to face the halt in the shooting. Some distorted facts in the story and shooting had brought the rage in the environment leading to such violence.
They even made a scene at the shooting site and the sets at Jaigarh Fort were destroyed. They has put allegations that the director moulded the proud history of Rajasthan. The movie tells the story of Muslim ruler Alauddin Khilji who was obsessed with Rani Padmavati’s beauty and elegance. Sadly, Deepika and Ranvir fans will have to take long route this time to see them together.
