bail to Kashmiri businessman

Syed Abid Jalali, a Kashmiri businessman has been in jail for 6 months now for alleged terror charges against him. But he is a free man now as bail has been granted to him by the Rajasthan High Court. National Investigation Agency has cleared his name from all the terror charges he was convicted of previously.

Satya Prakash Arya, a business associate of Jalali, filed a complaint against him, on the basis of which an FIR was charged. In his complaint in December in 2015, Arya had alleged that Jalali was in association with Mohammad Amin Bhat, who was a Hizbul militant. Arya had also blamed Jalali of not returning jewellery worth Rs. 2.5 lakh to him.

NIA after all the investigation could find no evidence against Jalali and thus he has been given a clean chit by Rajasthan High Court.
