Rajasthan feels proud to have so much talent. In order to create a record, a teenager from Rajasthan Gauri Singhvi had taken a challenge to swim for nine hours from Khar Danda to Gateway of India in Mumbai. She has travelled 48 kms in seas of Mumbai and created a record. She has already created a record by swimming 36 kms in seven hours in March 2017. She is the youngest one who created this record last year.

She began early in the morning at 3:30 am from Khar Danda (west coast of Mumbai) to Gateway of India (southern tip). He carried out this task in presence of coaches.

Gauri Singhvi is the swimmer from Udaipur, Rajasthan. She shared that she has been taking part in swimming competitions since class 3. She works very hard in her practice session. She spends 8-10 hours in water. She had covered the distance of 26 kms in 6 hours in previous month. She is turning out to be an inspiration to many women.

Talking about Gauri’s ultimate dream, it is to swim across the English Channel and in the Arabian Sea.
