Post the objection of MANINI makers, the Akshay Kumar’s starrer film caught in another infringement case!!
Looks like there’s a fresh trouble for the Akshay Kumar‘s starrer movie “TOILET EK PREM KATHA “.
This movie was the talk of the town a few days back when the director of the documentary MANINI alleged that the makers have plagiarized scenes. Now there is new copyright infringement issue that has cropped up. The song in the movie “Has mat pagli Pyar Ho jaega “has been lifted from the Rajasthani movie “laadli”.
The Rajasthani filmmaker Vipin Tiwari has sent a legal notice accusing them of violating the Copyrights Act. He also forwarded the complaint to the Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC). The IFTPC has sought a clarification from the co-producer of the movie “Toilet Ek Prem Katha”. Neeraj Pandey has been asked to submit the reply within 3 days.
Vipin Tiwari claims that one of the most famous songs “has mat pagli” was approved by the IFTPC in their favor and they still have the registration but Neeraj Pandey is screening the song without their permission. Not only the lyrics but the picturization of the song is also similar to the picturization in laadli.

The music of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has been produced by Vickey Prasad, and the lyrics have been written by Siddharth-Garima. The movie is scheduled to be released on 11 August 2017.
Tiwari has demanded the promotional content to be withdrawn and the plagiarized scenes to be removed as soon as possible.
This writer duo has also been previously accused of the plot of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon-starrer Raabta. The makers of Magadheera which was directed by SS Rajamouli claimed the story and unique plot of the film had been copied by the writers and sought an injunction against Raabta.
